Every year, property worth hundreds of thousands of pounds is recovered by the
police and not returned to its rightful owners, simply because it cannot be properly
identified. The association holds marking kits, which are available for use by all
Neighbourhood Watch members.
Data Link – free
Data Link is a simple method of storing essential information in the home in order that
it is readily available should the need arise. Data Link is recognised by the Police,
Ambulance and Fire Services. It is a voluntary scheme for anyone who might be
reassured to know that, should they suffer an accident or sudden illness in the home,
personal information would be available to the Emergency Services.
