Fareham and District Neighbourhood Watch Association

The Association, based at Fareham Police station, exists to support all the Neighbourhood watch schemes in the Borough. This covers an area from Portchester in the East to the river Hamble in the West, and from the Solent as far North as the Borough boundary
(but excluding Gosport, who have their own Web site at http://www.gosportnhw.freeserve.co.uk/)

The Association produces a regular Newsletter which is distributed three times a year to all households in Neighbourhood Watch schemes within the Borough. This is generously supported by Fareham Borough Council.

A very useful booklet, based on that produced by Denmead Neighbourhood Watch, is included on our website and can be accessed by clicking here

In order to pass information concerning some crimes in our District, the Association operates a CASCADE system (a RING ROUND method is employed by some schemes) to distribute messages from the Police to areas affected. The CASCADE method is also used to circulate the Newsletter.

The Association is part of the Hampshire Neighbourhood Watch Association, covering the whole of the County. Its web site can be found at

In addition a newly formed national Neighbourhood & Home Watch Network has recently been established. Click here to see more.
